HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SUGIZO & LUNA CHAN !!!

Hahahaha.. hei ini posting kelupaan mustinya awal Juli yah ! hei.. Mago chan ayo selametin ini ultahnya Sugizo san dan juga anaknya Luna chan yang namanya tentu saja diambil dari previous band-nya Sugi san.. LUNA SEA ^_^



I've heard that there were 2 best guitarist/song writer/producer in Japan. One of the was Hide (suda almarhum, gitarisnya XJapan) and of course the second one is Sugizo...

Sugi is a very interesting person, not only because of his wonderful appearance.. hahahahaha, appearance ??? Yeah, Mr. Sugihara Yuu Yasuhiro (his real name) is very Narcissist !!! hehehehe ^_^ While the other members of LUNA SEA left visual kei (ini adalah aksi panggung dengan make up dan rambut warna warni ala glamrock 80an), Sugizo still liked wearing eye catching clothes and make-up. He cares about his look, attracting fans attention (me for an example.. hehehehe) But, I wouldn't like if someone have the thought that Sugizo has only a well-groomed body or good make-up. First of all he is a master of the guitar, a very talented musician. He has this mystic something which attracts attention of the fair sex. Sugizo seems to be an eccentric, mysterious loner. There are people who think he's an arrogant and unpleaseant guy, too self-confident. Hemmh, maybe it was true in the past. But Sugizo has turned mature. He said once that he had met so many polite and well-mannered musicians who impressed him. And now he wants to be identical...




He comes from a musical family. His father plays the trumpet in Tokyo-to Orchestra and his mother is a cello player. The parents took care of his musical education where he had to learn playing the violin. He hated it bit, but now he's a really great violinist. He plays violin in many Luna Sea songs. For example are 'Providence' and 'Shade'. This also brings idea to his custom triple neck guitar from ESP which one of the neck is fretless..



The turning point in his life was a moment when he saw poster of KISS (and who said that visual kei was invented in Japan ? ^_^ hehehehe..) Up to this day he's a big fan of 'YMO' (he often mentioned this group in his own radio broadcast) and 'Japan' (british rock group).



Hemmhh.. 25 April kemaren juga di Tokyo Cultural Village Studio, dalam acara ZERO LANDMINE. Sugizo berkolaborasi dengan beberapa musisi dari berbagai jenis musik, seperti : Teru dan Takuro dari Glay, Jadranka, Tokyo Boy & Girl Chorus Party yang merupakan paduan suara anak2 belasan tahun, DJ Krush, dll..

Emmm, biasanya kan kalo iklan2 gitar terkadang suka pake cewe2 seksi buat tampilan di iklannya.. hehehehe. Kalo Sugizo mungkin merasa gak perlu.. Untuk ngiklanin ESP Costum Phyton-nya dia sendiri yang jadi model.. uhhh, itu kaki ga nahan.. kayak yang di komik2 manga jepang yah ! hahahaha..

Even now it is clearly understandable that "Maybe" is a love song, although at the beginning it had different idea. Lyricist Reynard recalls : "Lyrics arrived unexpectedly and approximately during an hour. I didn't suppose this song to be a love song - I tried to describe lyrically a selfish person using a lot of 'My'.. 'My body, my hand, my heaven, my land...' and then the other person appeared - the one who suggests 'Maybe we could divide it in two ?' and 'Maybe my animals live in your zoo..' and it was clear to me that the last line should be 'maybe I'm in love with you..'."

hiyahh.. memperkenalkan sebuah lagu dengan panggilan sayang '1423' dari sebuah kumpulan 3 orang manusia aneh yang mempunyai schedule saban rabu malam untuk berlatih duktrek duktrek jreng jreng dum dum toeng toeng..



lagu ini merupakan salah satu track dari Sontoloyo EP dari bung Erwin, masi merupakan versi preview.. karena memang belum 100% selesai.. dimana semua basic tracknya dimainkan simultan secara live.. tidak pake acara ulangan susulan.. ho iyah, pada lagu ini terdapat susunan kolaborasi manusia2 seperti berikut :

Ibanez ATK Series






A few years ago I heard a bass player (who's name I don't know) with Martha Davis' Band (formerly of 'The Motels') playing both fretted and fretless Ibanez ATK basses. The tone (through the PA anyway) was thick and warm... really superb.... as was this guy's reserved but supportive playing.

I have never thought of using an Ibanez Basses (jangan marah ya moe.. eko..) but, since then.. I thought of someday getting one of these for myself.. hahahaha.. nabung2.. 125.000 Yen ^_^' *gleg* hehehehe.. I occasionally see one used on the internet, but it seems as though Ibanez no longer or perhaps never sells these (markets these) in the USA, nor do they list them on their US web pages nor other countries. It's only avaliable in Japan !!! but also, they are available through music stores (that have web sites) in Germany and other european countries, and they are featured on the Ibanez web pages for other countries (such as England/UK for example). It also seems that the only models of ATK basses ever sold in the US or other countries (di Indonesia juga, inget waktu ke Jakarta NAMM kemaren di JHCC ga win ?) were the ATK 300 (4 string) and the ATK 305 (5 string), but overseas there are many other higher end models of ATK basses that include an extra neck J-style pickup (in addition to the triple single coil/humbucker bridge pickup seen on all ATK's), as well as the top of the line ATK 1300 OL and ATK 1305 OL that have a AAA flame maple top on the body.

Well.. kapan yah ke Jepang.. damn SARS..

Cardigans Night with Klarinet Band



Well.. the guys are back.. this is a come back from the Klarinet Band.. actually the true line up is supossed to be Adink (Guitar, Keyboard & Vocals), Wiwied (Vocals), Jumboz (Bass) & Muning (Drums).. unfortunenately because of Jumboz and Muning can't be joining the band for a while.. there have been a slight changes in their line up for covering these two player with an additional Bass and Drum player.. (Bison on Drums and 'a Clumsy boy known as Metallus Romantikus' hehehehe... (^^)v who knows nothing bout this stuff before, being forced to fill in and play the Bass.. hahahahaha..) and of course the multi talented, the genius Ledu on guitar. This newly line up only gets 3 days of rehearsing before they played their first gig, which they are playing "Cardigans Night" a tribute to The Cardigans in some Cafe at kemang.. they supossed to play every friday night for a month.. starting in mid June.. of course playing the songs from The Cardigans such as : Carnival, Rise & Shine, Iron Man, My Favourite Game, Love Fool, For What It's Worth... and also some of their original tunes from Klarinet's 1st album such as Pergi ke Bulan, Perempuan, Disgraceful.. after their first gig they have to played some top 40's songs also.. (bener2 ngeselin ini kok jadi jauh dari konsep Cardigans Night.. Huuuhh, gimana ini pihak manajemen cafe.. kontraknya ga dibaca apa ? masak iya ngerubah konsep seenak-enaknya di tengah jalan... hehehehe...) anyway.. a lot of things happened along the way.. Keep on going guys ! So glad that you guys stand up for your rights !!! way to go... ^_^

Anyway, their new album is being prepared.. just wait and see to hear slight of Bossas and Retro Pop Rock combined in a very unique way.. Top banget deh Dink !!! Itu 3 lagu demo pertama keren banget.. salut !!! sudah yang serius2 aja ga usah mikirin komersil.. hahahahaha ^_^ Ho iyah.. hei Tiara, kalo mao tau ada orang yang gila banget sama Jobim, dan apal semua lagu plus gape maeninnya.. yah si Adink ini orangnya.. hehehehe.. gak percuma dia les bahasa Portugis di Kedubes.. hehehehe..

Well.. thanks a lot guys for the experiences.. for the trust and chance given to learn a lot bout lotsa things.. glad to learn so much from you guys.. Another musical dimension and a different view was taken.. hehehehe.. ^_^ Thanks juga buat semua yang banyak bantuin dan ngasi banyak masukan termasuk complain2.. hehehehehe.. Mas Joni.. agak tenangan yah sekarang mas ? hehehehe.. Pak Bos dan Bu Bos-nya.. bagaimana ini kalo seperti ini caranya ? hahahaha.. Ocol, Jumboz, Icang, Gato.. suda nginep2, ngangkut2, nongkrongin operator mixer yang saban hari ganti, wakksss.. ^_^ rela nonton dan nongkrong2 sampe jam 1an.. hahahaha.. kapan nih Check Sound lagi sampe jam 3 pagi ? ^_^
